Domaine Pierre Vincent
Haute Couture, Artisan.
To quote Berry Bros & Rudd:
”Pierre Vincent has caught the attention of those in the know, including critic Neal Martin and our Burgundy Buyer, Adam Bruntlett.”
It was the 4th of March 2025, I understand what they talk about when tasting the cuvées of Pierre with him.
A few words about the 2023 Vintage
“In spite of the threat of frost at the beginning of April and a rather wet start to the spring, the fine weather that commenced in mid-May encouraged rapid growth in the vines. Flowering took place in the first week of June, then the hot summer with a few local storms (with some light hail in the lower Meursault on 11 July) led us to an early harvest. We began picking on 31 August with the Chassagne Premier Cru Chaumées and the Puligny Premier Cru Refert, and finished on 11 September in Corton Charlemagne (sector Pernand ). The wine profiles show great finesse, minerality and freshness. After a year of ageing in barrel the wines were racked into stainless steel vats to mature, protected from oxygen.”

My story, my opinion
I discovered him as a professional, so I do not have any of the usual pictures.
We chatted in autumn 2024, he invited me to come to visit and taste. In March 2025 I visited him.
There is a pure sense of serenity of balance with Pierre and his cuvées.
Transparent elegance and natural pure power, each cuvée is a part of him, his philosophy.
You can taste it. I am mesmerised as I experience it all. Happy to have my allocation..
